Jim has fostered a passion for the water his entire life. From building a speedboat in his parents’ garage as a teen to the comfortable motor yacht he enjoys today, Jim has always felt most at home on the water.
After a stint in the military, Jim attended college earning advanced degrees in civil and environmental engineering. While his corporate career focused on water management and pollution control, his free time was consumed with cruising the waters of New England and Long Island Sound. During the off season, he was a frequent contributor to numerous online yachting forums and constantly researched and tested a large assortment of marine products. In 2017, Jim and his wife moved to Fort Lauderdale and have enjoyed cruising the Florida Keys and Bahamas.
