My love for the sea began growing up on the New Jersey Shore. I started out racing one design sailboats at a very early age. After College, one thing was certain. I had to find a job that involved being around boats. I joined the Fort Lauderdale office of Richard Bertram and Co. in 1976. I was still racing sailboats but had moved up to the Maxi-yachts. My passion as it turned out moved me away from sailboats to Sport Fishing. I have successfully fished in many of the world's hot marlin grounds. I am an avid Blue Marlin tournament participant and enjoy all types of fishing whenever possible.
With this, I decided that being a yacht broker was the best possible way for me to enjoy my passion and make a living. I remained at Richard Bertram and Co, until 1992 when I left to join the firm of Woods and Oviatt. After many changes within the yachting industry, I have joined the firm of Gilman Yachts of Fort Lauderdale with a group of brokers from Woods and Oviatt.
I have directed my efforts to finding the best yachts for my clients and, most importantly, providing the best service after the sale. This is why most of my business comes from referrals and repeat customers. Many of my customers have turned out to be my best friends.
I look forward to providing my services to future clients.Back to Brokers
